Anhinga
The Anhinga, also known as the "snakebird," swims with just its long neck above water—looking like a periscope on a mission. Unlike most water birds, it doesn’t have waterproof feathers, so after a dive it spreads its wings to dry like it's striking a dramatic yoga pose. With its dagger-like bill and stealthy swimming, it's basically the underwater ninja of the bird world.
